Hampton's Archie Allen earns Downtowner of the Year

Archie Allen, of Joy's Marina, has earned the Downtowner of the Year award from the Downtown Hampton Development Partnership.

According to the organization, "This award is for the person who best exemplifies the spirit of downtown Hampton and who has worked hard to bring positive publicity to downtown through their contributions."

The Hampton resident received the honor Oct. 23 at the 2012 DHDP Annual Awards.
