Newport News Public Library System offering free books Nov. 3

Free books will be given away by the Newport News Public Library System on Saturday, Nov. 3 to members of the community.

The book giveaway event is part of the SoMo Community Family Day. Hundreds of free books will be available at South Morrison Family Education Center. Mini Price Storage donated more than 400 books to be used as giveaways.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 746 Adams Drive.

The event is free of cost.
