Holiday and Kwanzaa Marketplace to open Nov. 30

The 17th annual Holiday and Kwanzaa Marketplace, sponsored by the Hampton Convention and Visitor Bureau, will be held Friday, Nov. 30 and Saturday, Dec. 1 at Hampton University Museum.

The marketplace will feature African, African-American and other multicultural items and artwork. There will also be a clothing drive to benefit Transitions.

The event will start at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30, with holiday music and activities at 5:30 p.m. Shopping will be available from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, with a Kwanzaa and holiday workshop running from 1-3 p.m..

Hampton University Museum is at 130 E. Tyler St., Hampton.
