30th annual Hampton Bay Days seeks volunteers
Hampton's largest festival is in need of some assistance during the 30th annual event in September.
Hampton Bay Days is seeking volunteers for beverage control, trash pick-up, entertainment, parking and VIP lounge duties. All volunteers who work a minimum four-hour shift will receive a free Hampton Bay Days T-shirt. The schedule for the event is noon to 11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7; 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8; and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9. All events will take place in downtown Hampton.
Hampton Bay Days began in 1982 to educate the public on important aspects of Chesapeake Bay while promoting conservation and providing an entertaining atmosphere.
