Hampton Roads Academy student to enroll at Hampden-Sydney College
Richard Bagley III, of Hampton, has been accepted by Hampden-Sydney College and will begin classes in August.
Bagley will enter the school with a dean's award. He is a graduate of Hampton Roads Academy and is the son of Rick and Cindy Bagley, of Hampton.
"This year's freshman class is among the largest, most selective and most diverse ever enrolled," said Dean of Admissions Anita Garland, according to a press release. "The academic and extracurricular talents of these young men are outstanding. All of us at Hampden-Sydney College are looking forward to the matriculation of the class of 2016."
Hampden-Sydney College is a private, liberal arts college for men established in 1776. It is located in Hampden-Sydney.
