Hampton Baptist WMU announces breakfast in support of Menchville House
At 9 a.m. July 21, there will be a missionary breakfast hosted by the Hampton Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall in support of the Menchville House, according to a news release.
A free breakfast will be served for those who attend to hear ministry founder Carol Masser discuss the work the Menchville House is accomplishing.
Since April 2001, the Menchville House, a nondenominational, nonprofit organization located on Warwick Boulevard, has provided transitional shelter and programs for homeless women and their children, according to the release. Since then, more than 1,000 women and children have been assisted in becoming independent in their communities, the release states.
Hampton Baptist Church is located at 40 Kings Way, Hampton.
