Hampton University to host national transportation conference
The Hampton University Transportation Research Center is hosting the National Conference on Intermodal Transportation Oct. 11-12.
The conference will focus on the policies, problems and practices facing the intermodal transportation industry. Topics at the conference will cover how to make intermodal transportation more efficient for economic development. Intermodal transportation covers all forms of transportation.
Hampton University students will present at the conference as well as seven other universities engaged in transport ion research from across the U.S.
The university is located at 11 Frissell Ave., Hampton.
