Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Temple celebrates 10 years of mission work
Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Temple has been involved in mission work for more than 10 years.
The temple sent a mission to Nairobi and Uganda in 2010. The mission featured 35 missionaries of which eight were youth, two were pastors, and several were teachers and medical professionals. The mission was the largest in the temple's history.
The mission hosted youth celebrations in Nairobi. The medical professionals set up medical clinics while the teachers held workshops.
The temple has also sent missions to Kenya, Brazil and Haiti.
