Salute to Law Enforcement Luncheon to take place June 28
The Peninsula Crime Line will honor outstanding law enforcement officers and civilian employees at a luncheon from noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 28 at the Crowne Plaza Hampton Marina in Hampton.
Honored officers and employees will come from police departments in Hampton, Newport News, Poquoson, Williamsburg and James City County. The Gloucester County and York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Offices will also be represented.
Peninsula Crime Line hosts the event as a thank you to law enforcement for keeping neighborhoods and businesses safe.
Tickets are $35 per person. Several levels of sponsorship are available. A Headline sponsorship is $2,500, a Chief/Sheriff sponsorship is $1,000, Back the Blue sponsors are $500 and a Peninsula Crime Line Inc. sponsorship is $250.
The Peninsula Crime Line is a private, civilian-based, all-volunteer organization that pays cash rewards for information provided anonymously that helps law enforcement. All donations are tax-deductible.
The Crowne Plaza Hampton Marina is at 700 Settlers Landing Road in Hampton.
