Charles H. Taylor Arts Center to offer Drawing for Kids class

The Charles H. Taylor Arts Center, 4205 Victoria Blvd., Hampton, will offer a Drawing for Kids class from 1-2:30 p.m. Saturdays from April 21 through May 19.

The class will teach young artists about a variety of drawing media, including pencil, pen and ink, colored pencil, pastel and charcoal. They will learn to draw still life, portraits, landscapes and other subjects, as well as discover line, shape and design as they expand their drawing skills. The instructor is Jeff Burns.

There will be a total of five classes, with the class size limited to 12. The cost is $75 per student and includes all materials and snacks.
