Hampton City Council to meet April 11
The Hampton City Council will host a public forum at its meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 11 at City Hall, 22 Lincoln St., Hampton.
The meeting will take place in the City Council Chambers on the eight floor of City Hall.
On the agenda will be the presentation of several resolutions, including the approval of the city's participation in the 2012 Assistance to Firefighters Grant, participation in a study on the regionalization of sanitary sewer service and assets, and an ordinance to vacate the unimproved city right-of-way on Center Street between East Mercury Boulevard, Woodland Road and Old Buckroe Road.
Also on the docket will be considerations of appointments for the Citizens Unity Commission, the Hampton Clean City Commission, the Mayor's Committee for People with Disabilities, the Hampton Redevelopment and Housing Authority and the Hampton Parking Authority.
The meeting will feature reports by the city manager, City Council, staff and committees.
