School administrator acquires Hampton 5BD

Matthew W. Kittle and Christine Kittle bought a five-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 17 Ravenscroft Lane in Hampton from Hhhunt Homes Hampton Roads LLC for $313,060 on Aug. 29.

The 3,408-square-foot home was built in 2012 in Pine Chapel Village.

Matthew Kittle is a school administrator at Academy Programs. He previously served the academy as a principal. Prior to joining Academy Programs, he served as superintendent of West Virginia Department of Education's Office of Institutional Education Programs and of Barbour County Schools. Earlier in his career, he served as a teacher for Kanawha County Schools.

He holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Fairmont State University and a master's degree in educational leadership from Marshall University. He also completed doctoral level hours in educational leadership at West Virginia University and Marshall University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,799 sales in Hampton during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $138,006.
